Quilts for Kids

Quilts for Childhood Cancer Patients

We are looking for Lions and friends who do quilting and would like to make quilts to give to the kids in hospitals with cancer.  The quilts will be approximately 50 x 70 in size, just right for a kid’s bed.  We ask that they be cotton, but we will provide a few polyester patches with logos for Lions and Brent’s Place.  

We are targeting about 120 quilts per year so we want to reach out to all quilters in Colorado or Wyoming who could help us reach this goal.

When you volunteer, we will ship two cloth (polyester) patches to be incorporated in the quilt with logos of the Lions organization and Brent's Place.  Brent's Place will provide us with a means to distribute the quilts to the kids as they come for initial treatment.  We will also provide a certificate that the maker can fill out with your information.
